Area converters
Area units split along the same metric/imperial line as length, but the conversion factors are squared — which is why a quick mental estimate that works for feet-to-meters goes badly wrong for square feet to square meters. Land measurement adds its own units: the acre (imperial, still standard for US and UK property) and the hectare (metric, standard almost everywhere else).
