Short version: the free tools do not require an account and most conversions happen locally in your browser. Convertitive Extract is an optional exception: it stores account and document data as described below. We do not sell personal data.

What we collect

We use Plausible Analytics to count anonymous page views. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect IP addresses, and does not track individuals across websites. We do not have access to anything that could identify you personally.

We also use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. It runs under Google’s Consent Mode with regional defaults: in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland all storage is denied by default, so it collects only anonymous, cookieless signals and sets no first-party cookies unless you grant consent through the consent dialog. Elsewhere, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies to count visits; advertising storage remains off everywhere until a consent platform explicitly enables it.

Advertising

Pages may display ads served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DART cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet. The DART cookie enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. Other third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve cookies on this site to measure ad performance or serve interest-based ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by Google at Google Ads Settings, review Google’s use of cookies in advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, or opt out of third-party vendors via aboutads.info/choices (US) and youronlinechoices.eu (EU). Once ads are enabled, EU/UK/Swiss visitors will be presented with a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) before any personalised-advertising cookies are set; you may withdraw consent at any time from the in-page CMP controls. Until ads are enabled, no AdSense ad slots are rendered.

We do not control which specific ads appear on the site. Ads are served algorithmically by the ad networks and are clearly separated from editorial content with an “Advertisement” label on each ad slot. We do not endorse advertisers and have no relationship with them beyond receiving programmatic ad revenue.

Children’s privacy (COPPA)

This site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will take steps to remove such information. Google AdSense is configured not to deliver personalised ads to users known to be under 13, and we honour the “tag for child-directed treatment” signal where applicable. Cookies and local storage

We use one piece of local storage — your selected theme (light or dark). It never leaves your browser. Google Analytics runs in Google’s Consent Mode with regional defaults: in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland no first-party analytics cookies are set unless and until you grant consent through the consent dialog (until then, analytics are cookieless there). In other regions Google Analytics may set first-party cookies to count visits; you can decline via the same dialog.

Convertitive Extract (account & document data)

Every free tool on this site — including all the PDF and image tools — runs entirely in your browser and never sends your files anywhere. Convertitive Extractis the one exception: it’s a paid, server-side service that reads tables out of PDFs (bank statements, invoices, receipts) using an AI model, so the document is necessarily uploaded to our servers to be processed. For that feature specifically:

• Files are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and processed on infrastructure located in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
• Uploaded documents and their extracted data are automatically deleted one hour after you export a result if you’re not signed in. Signed-in Free accounts keep their last 3 exports for 24 hours each (re-downloadable from Extract history); Pro accounts keep every export for as long as the subscription is active.
• We do not use your documents to train any AI model. They pass through our extraction pipeline and are deleted per the retention window above.
• An Extract account stores your email address (hashed password, never the plaintext) and, once you make a purchase, a customer record with our payment processor, Creem.io, which is the merchant of record for all Extract transactions.

Your rights

Outside of Extract, we don’t collect personal data, so there is nothing for us to delete or export on request. If you live in the EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, or California and have a question about how a specific third-party network (Google, Plausible) is processing your data, contact that network directly using their own privacy policy. For an Extract account, email contact to request deletion of your account and any remaining documents ahead of the automatic retention window.
