Conversion results are computed using floating-point arithmetic and published conversion factors. We make every effort to use the most authoritative values (NIST, BIPM, IAU), but we make no warranty that results are fit for safety-critical or legal-of-trade use. Verify independently before using any result in a regulated, commercial, or medical context.

Acceptable use

Don’t scrape the site at rates that interfere with normal service, don’t republish derivative pages that duplicate our content without substantial value added, and don’t use this site to facilitate illegal activity.

Conversion factors are derived from public-domain references and are themselves uncopyrightable facts. Editorial text on this site (the about sections, formula explanations, FAQs) is © 2026 Convertitive; you may cite short excerpts with attribution and a link.
