Sign a PDF online

Place your signature on any PDF and download a signed copy that carries its own proof: a SHA-256 hash of the finished file and a timestamped trail of every action taken on it. Anyone can recompute the hash later and see whether the document was altered.

This is a simple electronic signature — the kind most everyday agreements, consent forms, and internal sign-offs need. It is not a qualified signature under eIDAS and it is not notarisation. Read exactly what is recorded and what it proves.

Where your file goes. Unlike the browser-only tools under /pdf/, Sign uploads your document to Convertitive’s servers in the EU (Hetzner, Frankfurt). That is what makes the hash and audit trail trustworthy — the sealed copy is produced somewhere the signer cannot edit. Files are kept for 30 days, then deleted; you can delete sooner from the document page.

How it works

Draw, type, or upload your signature once and reuse it. Dates fill themselves. Every action is timestamped in the audit trail.

Download both files
The signed PDF, and a certificate listing the document's SHA-256 hash and every recorded event. Recompute the hash later to prove nothing changed.
