Time converters
Time conversions look simple but hide a definition problem: the calendar year is not exactly 365 days. We use the Julian year (365.25 days), which is also the IAU definition behind the light year, so all our derived units are internally consistent. For everyday use this difference matters only at the multi-year scale.
